For the 4th year in a row, Unit J has brought some of rock’s biggest acts back! Expect killer costumes, incredible live music, and plenty of room to shake your inner skeleton!
Past “Rock Is Dead” shows included: a 10 piece David Bowie Cover Band, The Clash, The Ghost of Patsy Cline, The Beatles, Music from The Big Lebowski, and The Talking Heads. This is the first year they will do a SECOND show right in the Village the day before halloween.

ROCK IS DEAD IV is having a second public performance this year in case you couldn’t make our Unit J event on 10/26 or in case you can’t get enough of the ghastly rocking!
MAMA JUKE and That Feeling When will be switching off sets all night, reprising their roles as The B52Gees and Halloween & Oats and culminating in a giant jam at the end of the night!
*This 6-hour show is taking place at The Red Lion in the West Village, NOT AT UNIT J.
Come celebrate the season on the night before Halloween, no cover.
*Expect more zombie-related surprises the October 26th and October 30th shows!
