Allied Artists Taps European Hip-Hop Visionary Michel Assale to Produce U.S. Talent for Global Release
Allied Artists has announced that internationally acclaimed rapper, dancer, and producer Michel Assale has joined the company as a producer, marking his official move to the United States to develop artists for worldwide release.
Assale’s story is global by design. Born in Syria, raised in Lebanon, and musically forged in Sweden, he first broke through as half of W & M (Walter & Michel)—a duo that scored charting hits, national radio play, and international tours. Their collaborations with late hitmaker Denniz Pop (Ace of Base, Dr. Alban) placed Assale in the same creative orbit as some of Europe’s most influential pop architects.

Across four decades, Assale has evolved from an electrifying frontman into a visionary producer, mentoring new talent and fusing cultural influences into a modern urban sound that resonates across borders. His move to Allied Artists signals both a personal milestone and a bold expansion of the label’s international strategy.
“Michel Assale is a powerhouse,” said Kim Richards of Allied Artists, going on to note that “he knows how to break barriers, shape culture, and connect with audiences worldwide. Bringing his expertise to the U.S. will amplify everything we’re building.”
Assale added, “music has always been about breaking down walls. I’m excited to work with Allied Artists to create artists who can speak to listeners everywhere.”

The partnership reinforces Allied Artists’ mission to build careers that thrive across continents, producing music with the reach and staying power to impact generations.
