Interview with KOPO Magic

Thank you for chatting with us today. Share with us what inspired your album Northern Lights.

I was inspired to write this album a few years ago. I recorded it a while back not knowing what I was going to record. I did one take of recording every song and put it away on the side for a wile. Without even listening to it. I was asked from many people if I would release a harp album. So I did. The songs you hear flowed through me. Not planned or rehearsed.

When you need to get your creative juices flowing – what is something you do?

I don’t really do much to be honest. I just go with the flow. It’s when I force it, is when it doesn’t work out. The magic is in the unknown.

Do you have a favorite song to play live?

If I had to pick one song to play live it would be my great grandmother’s song called “Be The Change”.

Tell us if we were riding in the car with you – who we would hear coming out of the speakers?

Anything from Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake to P!nk

What would you be doing right now if you weren’t doing music?

Honestly I would be teaching music. If I’m not doing music I’m teaching others to be the music.

Where can we find you on iG?

You can find me on facebook.com/kopomagic twitter.com/kopomagic instagram.com/kopomagic

Also on Spotify, Pandora, YouTube, iTunes and Google Music

Thanks all for being part of the magic with me.
