Interview with Alonzo

Thank you for doing our interview! You have such an interesting story – share with us when you began singing and how you knew this is what you were going to do.  

Hey!

First, I just want to extend so much gratitude for this interview. I remember a time when no one paid attention to me so all of the recent press I’ve been getting means so much to me.

To answer your question, I’ve been singing secretly for as long as I remember but professionally as a career since 2013. I knew that I would be in entertainment for the rest my life after winning a 7th Grade Talent show. It was the first time in my life where I felt at home and I knew the stage would be something that I would crave forever.

What has been your favorite song you have released and why?

Well as of this interview I’ve only released 2 songs and that’s kind of like asking me to choose between my children haha. But I’m going to say that my favorite song so far for sure is “Save Me from Myself”. The meaning in that song Is everything that I stand for and I love singing slower songs.

Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?

In 5 years, I plan to be breaking records and making history.

We see you are into fitness and staying healthy. How do you fit in working out with your busy schedule and being on tour?

You know, it’s so interesting that this has become a topic for me because a year ago you could not have talked me into going to the gym. Now, I’m there 5 days a week. I think it fits into my schedule perfectly because Its literally the first thing I do every day. I usually hit the gym before I do anything else this way it doesn’t really get in the way.

It is that time of year, we are about to enter 2020 a fresh start. Do you set any New Year resolutions? If so, can you share any of them?

Yes! Wowww this year really flew by. I really don’t believe in New Year Resolutions but I have definitely gotten a head start on some habits I want to change and goals I want to accomplish. One of them is definitely saving more money! As an independent artist, I do spend a lot of money on my career but I still want to make sure im putting money away for emergencies.
