Interview with 2Four
Hello and Welcome 2Four! You have a current single out titled 'Party Time'. Can you share more about the song with us? Did you write it?
I did right the song and it’s basically just a let loose and have fun type of song. The song is basically just a big party and that was basically the message.
Who are your greatest musical influences and why?
I have a bunch of different influences actually. Of course a lot of them being musical influences but I also am influenced by art, business, fashion, modeling etc. I don’t necessarily have one influence that just sticks out because I draw from so much and that’s kind of where my diverse thoughts and ideas come from.
How did you first get into music? Do you remember the first song you wrote?
It was always something I was interested in and something that I dabbled in. Music has always been a huge part of my life and just the emotion that comes from it fuels me. I don’t remember the first song that I wrote because I mostly started with poetry and it molded into writing music. However, I do remember the first song that I went into the studio and put down and it was over a Young Jeezy beat and I called it Mr.2Four. That’s where my career began.
What genre of music do you consider your work to be?
It really depends because I dip into many different genres and I really don’t think about it I just go with what I think sounds good. I’m a rapper and a singer / songwriter at its most basic but I have done a lot in other genres like edm and pop so I’m all over the place and I enjoy it.
If you had to pick one artists to collaborate with dead or alive – who are you picking?
Lil Wayne. One of the best to ever do it and if I absolutely had to choose my favorite artist it would most likely be him. Tell us where we can get your latest single and where to find you on IG.
You can find it everywhere you get your music fix which is Spotify, Apple Music, etc. I also have links to iton my website www.thereal2four.net. My IG is @2fourworld
