Wendy Stuart Presents TriVersity Talk! Wednesday, April 15th, 2026 At 7 PM ET With Featured Guest Robert Kesten

Wendy Stuart will be hosting TriVersity Talk! this Wednesday at 7 PM ET with featured guest Robert Kesten.

TriVersity Talk! is a weekly web series with featured guests discussing their lives, activism and pressing issues in the LGBTQ Community. With TriVersity Talk!, the goal is to laugh and learn.

TriVersity Talk! Is part of TriVersity’s ICARE Initiative. ICARE stands for Increasing Community Awareness through Relevant Education. ICARE Programs are generously funded by The Greater Pike Community Foundation.

Robert Kesten is a seasoned nonprofit executive with extensive experience in the for profit and government sectors. He serves as President & CEO of Stonewall National Museum, Archives, & Library.  The organization is the largest LGBTQIA+ library in the world and has one of the largest archives in the nation. Stonewall is a repository for the national treasures providing context to the history and culture of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Kesten has had the unique experience of working on the break-up of the USSR on the ground in the Soviet Union and being in Tahrir Square during the Arab Spring in Egypt.  This has given him a special understanding of human rights; the need for democracy and the role education plays in the transformation of nations and their people.

These professional experiences comprise elements of Kesten’s varied career which include writing and producing an award winning documentary film on learning the lessons from the Holocaust (winning the Jury Prize at the Moscow Film Festival), producing concerts at venues including Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, Carnegie Hall and others, planning and programming for the 70th and 75th anniversary celebrations of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the 50th Commemoration of Babi Yar (in Kiev), as well as an all-star cast in an original piece on Broadway. He has created lecture series, briefed the White House on technology policy, organized a Federal Communications Commission task force and more. These experiences give him a unique set of skillsets not often found, developing unique abilities with real world practicality under stressful conditions. The underlying flexibility required to pull off these programs at the highest level make for an individual who can work with people from across all walks of life, bring them together and change lives.

Kesten, having worked in human rights for the last two decades, conceived of the United Nations Decade on Human Rights Education (1995-2004). He has worked extensively in capitals around the world, including Washington, DC, created the Director’s View Film Festival, and has worked with leading political leaders, entertainment figures, and business titans.
